Terms of Service
BuildForce Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026. These terms govern your use of BuildForce's AI-native consulting platform and services.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using BuildForce, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using BuildForce on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Service description
BuildForce provides an AI-native consulting platform for SaaS management, including:
- AI-Driven Health Checks with one-click remediation for connected SaaS platforms.
- CI/CD Automation with AI-enabled pipeline setup and deployment orchestration.
- Smart Data Management with AI-assisted field mapping and governance.
- 24/7 AI SaaS Consultant for troubleshooting, solution design, and custom tool deployment.
Beta and pre-release services
BuildForce is currently in an alpha/beta development phase. By using the platform during this period, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Features, functionality, and interfaces may change or be removed without prior notice as we iterate on the product.
- No service level agreements (SLAs) are in effect during the beta period, including uptime, response time, or availability guarantees.
- BuildForce may revoke beta access at any time at its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason.
- Features labeled as 'beta', 'alpha', 'preview', or 'experimental' are not production-ready and should be used accordingly.
- Beta participants are subject to the Beta Terms Addendum available at /beta-terms, which supplements these Terms of Service.
AI data routing and third-party providers
BuildForce's AI features rely on third-party AI providers to process your queries and generate recommendations. By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge:
- AI queries are processed through third-party AI providers, currently including OpenRouter routing to models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others.
- Metadata-level information about your connected platforms—such as object names, field counts, and configuration settings—may be included in AI prompts to provide contextual recommendations.
- No personally identifiable information (PII) or record-level customer data is sent to AI providers unless you explicitly initiate such a query through the AI Consultant (for example, by requesting a SOQL query that returns record data).
- Third-party AI providers are subject to their own privacy policies and data handling terms. BuildForce selects providers with enterprise-grade data handling practices.
- BuildForce does not store AI conversation data with third-party providers beyond the active session. Conversation history is stored in BuildForce's own database for your convenience.
Intellectual property for AI-generated content
BuildForce's AI features generate code, configurations, SOQL queries, and recommendations tailored to your environments. The following terms apply to AI-generated outputs:
- AI-generated code, configurations, queries, and recommendations created through BuildForce are provided for your use in your own environments.
- You may use, modify, and deploy AI-generated outputs in your own environments without restriction or additional licensing.
- BuildForce retains no ownership claims over AI-generated outputs that are specific to your organization's configuration or data.
- BuildForce may use anonymized, aggregated patterns from AI interactions to improve the platform's capabilities for all users.
- AI-generated content may incorporate open-source patterns, common coding practices, or standard configuration approaches that are not subject to exclusive ownership by any party.
Education and public sector provisions
BuildForce serves customers across industries, including education and public sector organizations. The following provisions apply:
- BuildForce does not intentionally access, process, or store student education records as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- The platform operates at the metadata and configuration level of connected platforms—analyzing object structures, field definitions, automation rules, and security settings—not at the record or PII level.
- Customers in education, government, or public sector organizations are responsible for ensuring their use of BuildForce complies with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to FERPA, CIPA, COPPA, and applicable state privacy laws.
- Custom Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are available upon request for institutional requirements. Contact legal@buildforce.io to initiate a DPA. A standard DPA is available at /dpa.

You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens.
- All activities that occur under your account, including actions taken by the AI consultant.
- Ensuring you have proper authorization to connect third-party SaaS platforms to BuildForce.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the service.
- Providing accurate billing and contact information.
AI-generated solutions and production deployments
IMPORTANT: BuildForce uses experimental AI technology that is continuously evolving. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, AI models may produce unexpected, incorrect, or inappropriate outputs. BuildForce is not a substitute for professional consulting services in regulated fields such as legal, medical, or financial advising. You acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Experimental Technology: BuildForce utilizes experimental AI technology that may sometimes provide inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable recommendations. Use discretion and professional judgment before relying on, implementing, or deploying any AI-generated solutions. AI outputs should be reviewed by qualified personnel with relevant domain expertise.
- Approval Authority: You maintain sole responsibility for reviewing and approving all AI-generated solutions, recommendations, and deployments before they are applied to your production environments. BuildForce provides tools and suggestions, but YOU make the final decision.
- Production Environment Risk: Any changes deployed to your production SaaS platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, HubSpot, etc.) through BuildForce—whether manual or automated—are done at your own risk. You are responsible for testing in sandbox/staging environments before production deployment.
- No Warranty of AI Accuracy: AI-generated code, configurations, and recommendations are provided 'as is' without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for your specific use case. AI models may produce incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate solutions that could negatively impact your systems.
- No Liability for Deployment Impact: BuildForce is NOT responsible for any damages, data loss, downtime, business interruption, or other harm resulting from deployments to your production environments, including but not limited to: broken integrations, configuration errors, data corruption, security vulnerabilities, compliance violations, or user access issues.
- Testing Requirement: You agree to thoroughly test all AI-generated solutions in non-production environments before deploying to production. BuildForce strongly recommends establishing rollback procedures and backup policies.
- Third-Party Platform Terms: Deployments to connected platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, HubSpot) are subject to those platforms' terms of service. You are responsible for compliance with all third-party platform policies.
- One-Click Remediation Risk: Features labeled 'one-click remediation' or similar automated deployment capabilities require your explicit confirmation before execution. By clicking to deploy, you accept full responsibility for the resulting changes.
- Monitoring and Rollback: While BuildForce provides monitoring and rollback capabilities, you are ultimately responsible for monitoring your production environments and maintaining your own backup and disaster recovery procedures.
